Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (ZPMC) is a famous heavy-duty equipment manufacturer, and a state owned company listed on A and B shares on Shanghai Stock Exchange. The major shareholder is China Communications Construction Co., Ltd. (CCCC) which is one of top 500 companies in the world.
As one main manufacturing and assembly base of ZPMC, Nantong branch was established in August, 2006, with the registered capital 1.08 billion yuan and the total assets 2 billion yuan. Our company covers 739703 square meters. At present, our plant covers 122,939.62 square meters, while the area of steel structure fabricating plant is 33,840 square meters, the area of heavy equipment manufacturing plant is 52,800 square meters and the area of specialized blasting & painting workshop is 18,675 square meters. We have more than 6,000 staff, with strong manufacturing capabilities.
There are four main types of products:
Firstly, we supply port container machinery and bulk material handling machinery for ore and coal. Container machinery includes quayside container cranes and rubber-tyred gantry cranes, which have entered into 76 countries all over the world and occupied 78% market shares. Bulk material handling machinery includes ship loaders, ship unloaders, bucket-wheel stacker-reclaimers.
Secondly, we supply kinds of steel structures, like steel structural bridges, heavy-duty steel structural plants, large-scale tubular piles and so on.
Thirdly, we supply offshore products, such as floating cranes, pipe-lay vessels and other engineering vessels, all types of platforms. For instance, the world’s largest fully revolving floating crane “Lan Jing” with capacity of 7500T was manufactured by ZPMC.
In addition, we have manufactured numerous hull blocks as a subcontractor. |
